All the wood in the Bed Frame comes from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified locations which are also LEED compliant and CARB compliant, promoting responsible energy and pollution monitoring practices. We specifically chose sustainable wood species to create a high-quality and eco-friendly solid wood platform bed frame.
Premium Natural Materials
Designed to be durable, yet only with materials found in nature, the Bed Frame features 100% Appalachian hardwood bed rails, 100% solid Southern Yellow Pine natural wood slats, and 100% solid Appalachian Maple legs. The all-natural wood finishes are water-based with zero VOCs.
Tool-less Assembly
This low-profile solid wood bed frame features beautifully minimalistic, solid Japanese joinery with naturally noise-reducing joints. Setup is simple, with no need for tools or metal hardware. Easy, simple, safe.
Bed Rails - Industrial Veneer Core Hardwoods
The bed rails along the edge of the Bed Frame are made from industrial veneer core hardwoods, including Maple and Poplar, which are 100% Appalachian hardwoods.
Bed Slats - Southern Yellow Pine
The bed slats that form the support for the mattress are made from 100% Southern Yellow Pine, a very dense and sturdy wood that’s also one of the most sustainable wood species in the country.
Legs - Solid Maple
The legs are made from 100% solid Appalachian Maple sourced locally in North Carolina. We chose Maple for the legs of the Bed Frame because of its beautiful grain, as well as its strength.
Finish - Water Based
Each Bed Frame features water-based and UV finishes with zero VOCs and no formaldehyde, meeting safe-for-home standards.

Maple & Poplar Hardwood
Solid, natural, and incredibly durable, our Maple and Poplar hardwoods are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified and leverage a proprietary formaldehyde-free technology ensuring strict standards regarding emissions testing.
Southern Yellow Pine
Our Southern Yellow Pine wood comes from Jordan Timberlands, an FSC-certified manufacturer with thousands of acres of sustainable timberlands in the Carolinas. Sustainable practices include replanting six times more trees than are harvested and managing wildlife preservation.
